Words Paint a Picture (Short)

Words.

Words surround me.

Words astound me.

Words pour down.

Words float straight.

Words float straight...through the air.

Words float through the air... into my ear.

Words paint a picture in the air.

Words paint a picture in my ear.

Words can serve as an expression of love.

Words can also sooth a fearful heart.

Come sit here.

Come receive care.

Come and hear words.

Hear words that cover.

Hear words that cover a mind. Come hear words

that cover a mind...

all of the time

Hear words that act like a balm

Come hear words that can bring calm

Come hear words that can calm...

...calm

...a

...fear

...full

...h e a r t

Thank you for your kindness about my expression. Though pieces of what is captured may have a personal ring, I tend to share the material that feels very universal in nature. I have watched people and, like you, have worked with people from every age and stage, along the way. I see myself writing from the intersection of universal hungers and experiences.
